Kerberos for SSAS

When SSAS is running on the local system account – in SSAS 2000, the system automatically created the SPN (service principle name).  But we were surprised to see that it didn’t work on SSAS 2008.  Fortunately, we found this support article. Says – we need to use a utility to configure the SPN manually.
